For more then three decades, the law firm of Newell, Curtis, Nelson and Burnight (NCN&B) has been providing high-quality (AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell) legal services to businesses and individuals in the Greater Long Beach area.

Members of our firm are experienced trial lawyers who effectively handle complex litigation in any court within Los Angeles or Orange counties. Our firm has litigation expertise in personal injury, family law, real estate, business, probate and trust matters. Firm members are experienced business and estate planning attorneys. We represent many business clients and have expertise in real estate, business formation, preparation of wills and trusts, estate and trust administration, and negotiation of premarital agreements.

NCN&B members are also active in the legal community. Whether it’s serving as president of the Long Beach Bar Association or Long Beach Barristers, being active members of the Los Angeles and Orange County Bar Associations, or serving as volunteer mediators, arbitrators or judge pro tems, NCN&B has a strong leadership presence in our legal community. We are proud that four former members of our firm have been appointed to the judiciary, including the Honorable Michael G. Nott, Justice of the California Court of Appeals, Retired, and Honorable Chris R. Conway, Retired.

In addition to providing quality legal services, our firm has a long history of community and charitable involvement. Our members have served as presidents of Long Beach Rotary, Long Beach City College Foundation, Cypress College Foundation and the Kiwanis Club of La Palma. In recent years, we have also actively served on the board of directors of numerous service and charitable organizations in our community. In local government, firm members have served as mayors, city council representatives, and on city and county commissions.
